Designed the album packaging for NEWBEAT’s first full-length album, [RAW AND RAD]. The album was released in two versions — RAW and RAD — each featuring distinct graphic concepts aligned with the tone and mood of the photographs. Containing a total of ten tracks, the two versions were differentiated further through unique lyric booklet structures, enhancing the overall completeness of the album. The album took the form of a photobook with spring binding, chosen to visually convey NEWBEAT’s fresh and lively energy. The binding was designed with narrower spacing than standard spring books to move away from the typical impression of spiral-bound publications. — The RAD version was designed and structured to convey a craft-inspired mood, with the main graphics and track titles developed through hands-on physical work. A group photo spread was produced using an origami-inspired format, adding a layer of narrative engagement to the flow of the photobook. Additionally, velvet coating and silver star printing were applied to ensure a balance of material quality and completeness between the two versions.
